Experienced Commercial Carpenter — Rough Framing Journey Construction Group | General Trades Division Full-time | Grand Rapids and surrounding West Michigan Starting at $28/hour, with higher pay based on experience and skills Journey Construction Group is hiring experienced carpenters for a major upcoming project and continued work across our General Trades division. We're looking for people with strong rough framing skills who take ownership of their work and know how to get the job done. Our team works together, adapts when plans change, and does what it takes to finish quality work safely and on schedule. We value carpenters who bring years of experience to the jobsite and are willing to share that knowledge with the rest of the crew. What you'll do Lay out and complete rough framing for commercial projects. Read plans, work through field conditions, and help keep work moving. Support commercial renovations, tenant buildouts, and other General Trades work. Share your experience with carpenters who are developing their skills. What you'll bring Several years of carpentry experience, including substantial rough framing work. Dependability, initiative, and a commitment to quality and safety. The ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Authorization to work in the United States. A valid driver's license for travel between jobsites.
