In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, including walls, floors, roofs, and other essential components. Your expertise in framing techniques, blueprint interpretation, and use of hand and power tools will be crucial to delivering high-quality craftsmanship on time and within safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse projects ranging from commercial metal building erection to residential remodeling. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects Measure and mark dimensions using tape measures, levels, and other tools to ensure precise cuts and placements Construct metal stud framing, wood framing, and other structural frameworks according to specifications Install rebar and perform concrete forming tasks for foundational structures Use power tools such as saws, drills, and nail guns efficiently and safely during framing operations Perform heavy lifting of materials and assist in the assembly of large-scale metal buildings or restoration projects Collaborate with construction management teams to adhere to project timelines, safety protocols, and quality standards Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a focus on framing carpentry and metal building erection Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, technical schematics, and interpreting construction plans Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, tape measures, levels, and other carpentry equipment Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately for framing and trim carpentry tasks Experience with concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry, plastering, stucco application, and welding is highly desirable Familiarity with construction management principles and site safety procedures Physical stamina for heavy lifting, working at heights, bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to framing projects Join our team if you're passionate about building structures that stand the test of time!
