The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for construction projects, ensuring competitive pricing while maintaining quality standards. This role involves analyzing project plans, specifications, and material requirements to develop comprehensive estimates that support successful project bidding and execution. The Construction Estimator will work closely with project managers, suppliers, and clients to deliver precise and timely cost assessments. Duties Review project plans, drawings, and specifications to understand scope and requirements. Prepare detailed material cost estimates using spreadsheets and other estimating tools. Analyze construction industry trends and market conditions to ensure estimates reflect current costs. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to gather accurate pricing information for materials and services. Assist in the preparation of bid proposals by compiling comprehensive cost summaries. Monitor project budgets and update estimates as needed throughout the project lifecycle. Ensure all estimates comply with company standards, safety regulations, and client expectations. Communicate effectively with team members to clarify project details and resolve estimation discrepancies. Requirements Proven experience in the construction industry, preferably in estimating or related roles. Strong proficiency in spreadsheets and experience with material cost estimating tools. Solid understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards. Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate cost assessment. Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, vendors, and clients. Organized with the ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously under tight deadlines.

$66,378.63 - $79,939.86 per year
