We build differently:
utilizing 3D BIM modeling, Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) logic, and robotic field layout to deliver structural framing packages that are faster, cleaner, and dramatically more precise than conventional framing. We have an established pipeline of production framing work in the Omaha and Gretna area (including key partnerships with premier regional builders) and are establishing a dedicated local leadership presence. We are looking for an ambitious, tech-savvy Framing Foreman from the Omaha market ready to elevate their career into modern construction management.
The Opportunity:
Paid Leadership Residency To set you up for long-term success as our Omaha Market Foreman, this position includes a paid 6-month training residency at our Central Iowa headquarters in Des Moines (company lodging and travel allowance provided). You will train hands-on with our senior project managers, field leaders, and BIM modeling department, gaining mastery over: The Botmark Robotic Total Station for automated foundation layout. Our BIM-to-field model translation and pre-cut framing workflows. Subcontractor management, quality control, and schedule pacing. Upon completion, you will return permanently to Omaha to lead all local field operations, run jobsite logistics, manage framing crews, and serve as our key leader on the ground in Eastern Nebraska.
Key Responsibilities Robotic Foundation Layout:
Utilize Botmark robotic total stations to survey foundations and shoot precision plate layouts before framing crews mobilize to the jobsite.
Field Management & Subcontractor Pacing:
Oversee rough framing subcontractors across Omaha and Gretna subdivisions; track daily assembly progress against scheduled milestones; and ensure execution per BIM specifications.
Package Receiving & Inventory Verification:
Verify inbound material deliveries from our logistics facility (plate packs, loose lumber, EWP, and trusses) against package reports using our mobile app systems.
Quality Assurance & Builder Sign-Offs:
Perform comprehensive pre-punch walkthroughs; execute window and door mock-up installations; coordinate municipal and 3rd-party inspections; and obtain formal sign-offs from builder superintendents.
Local Market Growth:
Act as the trusted primary contact for local general contractors and building officials; maintain high satisfaction with existing builder accounts; and identify opportunities to bring new builder partners into our workflow.
Fleet & Tool Maintenance:
Keep assigned company truck, site tools, and telehandler equipment clean, organized, and properly serviced according to company SOPs.
Qualifications & Experience Framing Background:
3+ years of residential or commercial wood framing experience, with at least 1-2 years in a lead carpenter, crew leader, or assistant foreman capacity.
Self-Motivated Leader:
Proven organizational and time-management skills, capable of prioritizing multiple active builds, inspections, and material deliveries. Appetite for

Enthusiastic about modern building methods; able to read 3D digital models on a tablet and eager to master robotic survey and layout technology.
Customer-Facing Polish:
Professional communication skills to build trust with local builders, project superintendents, and municipal building inspectors.
Training Availability:
Must be able and willing to spend the initial 6-month onboarding period in Des Moines, IA (with travel/housing support provided) before stepping into the Omaha market full-time.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record; ability to pass pre-employment screening.
