Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of carpentry techniques and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine specifications and dimensions. Construct, install, and repair structures such as walls, floors, windows, door frames, sheetrock and siding using hand tools and power tools. Perform flooring installation, fixture installation, and other carpentry tasks as required. Ensure all work is plumb, level, and square according to project specifications. Apply caulking materials to seal joints and gaps in structures for improved durability. Conduct mold remediation tasks as necessary to maintain a safe working environment. Install drywall sheets and perform finishing work to prepare surfaces for painting or other treatments. Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols at all times. Qualifications Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools effectively and safely. Strong ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately. Experience with flooring installation, fixture installation, stucco application, masonry work, caulking, mold remediation, and drywall installation is preferred. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team environment. Strong communication skills to interact with clients and team members effectively.
