Build Team Project Manager The Build Team Assistant is an entry-level construction position responsible for supporting the field team in all aspects of custom residential home construction. This role performs general labor tasks, assists skilled trades and carpenters, maintains a clean and safe jobsite, and helps ensure projects progress efficiently. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, eager to learn, and committed to producing high-quality work. Key Responsibilities Assist lead carpenters and construction team members with daily jobsite activities. Load, unload, move, and organize building materials, tools, and equipment. Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites throughout the construction process. Perform demolition, site preparation, framing assistance, material handling, and cleanup. Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively. Assist with deliveries, inventory, and staging materials for upcoming work. Protect finished work and maintain quality standards on all projects. Follow company safety policies and OSHA guidelines. Communicate effectively with supervisors and fellow team members. Perform other general labor duties as assigned to support project completion. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous construction or labor experience is a plus but not required. Willingness to learn residential construction techniques. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable attendance. Basic understanding of hand and power tools preferred. Reliable transportation is a must Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry 75 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work on uneven terrain for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to safely perform physically demanding work throughout the day.
