Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Skilled Tradesman to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a wide range of building and renovation projects with precision and efficiency. Your expertise in various trades will help ensure that all construction, remodeling, and maintenance tasks are completed to the highest standards, contributing to the successful delivery of diverse hardscaping and building projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on outdoor and indoor construction sites, utilizing your technical skills and craftsmanship to bring quality results to life. Duties Interpret and follow detailed construction plans, technical drawings, and specifications to execute projects accurately. Perform a variety of building construction tasks including framing, drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, and trim carpentry. Install doors, windows, flooring, cabinetry, tile, and other building materials with precision. Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely to facilitate efficient construction activities. Conduct construction inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and project specifications. Manage site preparation activities such as caulking, sealing, and hardscaping construction projects outdoors. Collaborate with project managers on construction estimating, scheduling, and managing materials using tools like Bluebeam for digital plan review. Ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Assist in electrical work, plumbing installations, and other trades as needed to support project completion. Interpret technical drawings and blueprints accurately for precise installation of building components. Qualifications Proven experience in building construction or related trades with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively. Knowledge of construction management principles including scheduling, estimating, and site supervision. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and plans for various trades such as carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, and tiling. Experience with drywall installation, caulking, stucco application, flooring installation, door hanging, cabinet installation, window installation, and remodeling projects. Familiarity with safety protocols relevant to construction sites to ensure a secure working environment. Outdoor work experience preferred for hardscaping projects or exterior renovations. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and project managers effectively.
