In this vital role, you will be responsible for constructing the structural framework of buildings, including metal and wood framing, ensuring precision and safety on every project. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, from residential remodels to large commercial developments. Responsibilities Erect metal building frameworks, including steel studs and structural supports, following detailed construction plans and specifications. Install concrete forms and rebar for foundations, ensuring accurate placement for optimal concrete pouring and curing. Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to determine measurements, materials, and procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other equipment to perform framing, drywall installation, siding, roofing, and trim carpentry tasks. Conduct masonry work such as stucco application, plastering, or restoration projects as needed. Perform heavy lifting of materials and components safely while maintaining proper posture and technique. Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate site activities, adhere to safety protocols, and meet project deadlines. Qualifications Proven experience in framing carpentry with a strong background in metal building erection, drywall installation, roofing, and siding. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans with precision. Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and other carpentry equipment. Knowledge of rebar installation, concrete forming techniques, masonry work, welding basics, and drywall finishing. Ability to perform dimensional measurements accurately and execute trim carpentry with attention to detail. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety standards and heavy lifting procedures. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to framing projects. Strong understanding of construction management principles to coordinate tasks efficiently on-site.
