We're looking for a dependable, experienced construction worker to join our crew. This is a hands-on construction job. You will be working with our crew to build pole barns from the ground up. If you have construction experience, know how to use power tools, show up ready to work, and take pride in doing quality work, we'd like to hear from you. What You'll Do You will work as part of a construction crew building pole buildings from start to finish, including: Setting posts and framing structures Installing siding and roofing Building walls and roof systems Installing doors and other building components Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials Using power tools and basic construction equipment Following plans and instructions Maintaining a clean and safe job site Working as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and correctly
What We're Looking For Required:
Previous construction experience Experience using power hand tools Valid driver's license and a clean driving record (to drive work vehicles) Comfortable working from ladders and on roofs Able to lift and carry 50+ pounds repeatedly Reliable transportation to the shop/job site Dependable attendance and punctuality Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to follow directions and work well with a crew Strong work ethic and willingness to learn The Right Person Will... Show up on time and ready to work Take pride in the quality of their work Work safely and use tools and equipment properly Pay attention to measurements and details Work well with others as a team Be willing to do whatever part of the job is needed to get the project completed This Job Is NOT For You If... You are looking for a job where you can sit most of the day You are uncomfortable with heights, ladders, or roof work You don't have construction experience You don't have reliable attendance You don't have a valid driver's license You aren't comfortable working outside You need constant supervision to stay on task Schedule Full-time Monday-Friday Approximately 40 hours per week Occasional overtime Weekends off Pay We typically start pay between $20-$24/hr to start, depending on experience, with higher pay considered for highly experienced candidates.
