We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our residential and commercial Property Management/Real Estate Company in the Easton, Pa. area . Carpenter oversees all the work involved in the upkeep of rental properties. This is a full-time year round standard 40 hour work week with rotating on-call weekend responsibility. Qualified candidates are to be energetic, responsible, self-motivated and experienced in the following areas: painting, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, HVAC and other general labor trades. Candidate must have a valid driver's license and access to own tools. Apply ONLY if you meet the above qualifications. Responsibilities requirements but not limited to: Install, maintain, and repair a wide variety of products including: cabinets, drywall, doors, windows, tile, flooring and other major remodeling items. Basic plumbing and electrical knowledge for renovation work Drywall finishing Flooring, framing, painting, and cabinetry knowledge Installation of a wide variety of accessibility products Perform work in accordance with safety best practices Conduct inspections and identify needed repairs Document repairs and maintain thorough records Cut, shape, and alter materials as needed Measure and mark materials for alterations Other duties as assigned Complete work and repair orders in a timely fashion Estimate time and extent of repairs Perform routine preventive maintenance Maintain material and supply inventory Oversee work performed by outside contractors as necessary. Previous experience in maintenance for 3 plus years or other related fields Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
