Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high-quality standards. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, trim carpentry, cabinetry installation, door hanging, and fixture setup. Operate woodworking machines safely for cutting, shaping, and assembling wood materials. Assist with construction estimating by measuring materials and preparing job site layouts. Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks such as rebar installation, concrete forming, drywall installation, stucco application, siding work, and roofing. Support restoration projects including water damage remediation, mold remediation, plastering, and general site cleanup. Follow all safety protocols related to power tool safety, scaffolding use, electrical work, plumbing tasks, masonry activities, and working at heights. Install various fixtures such as cabinets and doors while ensuring precise alignment and secure fastening. Contribute to remodeling efforts by installing flooring, tile laying, metal stud framing, drywall finishing, caulking, painting, and other finishing trades. Collaborate with team members on construction site activities including schematics interpretation and fabrication tasks using woodworking machines or CNC equipment when applicable. Requirements Proven construction experience with a strong background in carpentry or woodworking trades. Ability to read blueprints and construction plans accurately. Proficiency with hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills, saws for woodworking; and specialized equipment like CNC machines if applicable. Knowledge of construction estimating processes and interpreting technical drawings or schematics. Experience working on residential or commercial sites with a focus on framing, trim carpentry, siding installation, or restoration projects. Familiarity with construction site safety standards including power tool safety practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work in physically demanding environments for extended periods. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in fabrication or installation tasks such as fixture mounting or door hanging.
