Solid Concrete LLC focuses on servicing the commercial construction market as well as high-end residential within the Greater Austin Area. We specialize in Dirt Work, Structural Foundations, Architectural and Decorative Concrete, while offering many other services in our line of work. We are currently looking to employ experienced concrete form setters and finishers to be responsible for designing and building forms, pouring, leveling, and smoothing concrete for various surfaces such as curb and gutter, sidewalks, paving, and foundations using concrete hand tools, and other finishing equipment. You should possess the knowledge and skill of a specialist in the field and maintain a high standard of work. Your ability to meet job specifications and make top-class finishes in concrete work will ensure your success.

Responsibilities:

Designing, building, and setting up forms. Using wire mesh to reinforce the concrete. Place and finish concrete. Monitoring the material to ensure that it hardens to a durable and quality finish. Stripping forms after placement of concrete is complete. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.

Requirements:

Hands-on knowledge and experience in all aspects of concrete work (form work, rebar, foundation work, cast in place walls, etc.) for both commercial and residential projects. Ability to perform strenuous tasks with your hands. Ability to kneel, bend, and lift heavy materials. Ability to measure accurately and read specifications. Experience in operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment. Must have dependable transportation. Should own basic tools needed for the concrete trade.

Pay:

$23.00 - $28.00 per hour Expected hours: 45.0 per week
