Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced diver to join our team as an Underwater Hull Cleaner. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the underwater integrity of vessels by removing marine growth and debris from their hulls. This position requires a strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as a team in challenging underwater environments.
Responsibilities:
Hull Cleaning:
Utilize specialized tools and techniques to clean marine growth, algae, and other debris from vessel hulls.
Inspections:
Conduct thorough inspections of vessel hulls, identifying any damage or potential issues.
Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure that all diving equipment is properly maintained and in working order.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, including those related to diving and marine operations.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate records of work performed, including dive logs and maintenance reports.
Customer Service:
Interact professionally with clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
Qualifications:
Certification:
Possess a valid diving certification (e.g., NAUI, PADI, SSI) with advanced certifications preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in underwater hull cleaning or similar marine work.
Physical Fitness:
Excellent physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding underwater conditions.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using various underwater cleaning tools and equipment.
Problem-Solving:
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills. Attention to
