Full Job Description Overview:
Reporting directly to the President of the Florida Business Unit, this role leads one of Titan America's largest and most strategically important businesses, with full P&L accountability for a ~$650M multi-site operation across Florida. The Vice President will drive profitable growth, operational excellence, and market leadership in a dynamic, high-growth environment for a significant multi-site operating platform that includes approximately 45 ready-mix concrete plants and 8 concrete block manufacturing facilities, with several more in development. The Florida Concrete Products business serves a diverse customer base across residential, commercial, infrastructure, and public-sector construction markets. Through its network, the business delivers a portfolio of concrete masonry and construction products throughout the state. This role serves as the senior business leader for Concrete Products in Florida and is responsible for safety, operational excellence, strategy development, financial performance, commercial execution, capital deployment, and organizational leadership. Success in Year 1 Deliver above-market EBITDA growth through pricing discipline and cost optimization Strengthen commercial execution and win share in key Florida growth markets Improve plant/network efficiency, operating performance and reliability across the platform Build a strong, aligned leadership team with clear accountability The successful candidate will combine a strong business mindset with commercial acumen and operational leadership, balancing long-term strategic planning with day-to-day execution. This role requires an executive who can lead through market cycles, capitalize on growth opportunities, and consistently deliver superior financial and operational results.
Responsibilities:
The Vice President, Concrete Products will lead the Florida concrete products business with full accountability for strategy, performance, operations, and organizational capability. Business Strategy and Leadership Shape the strategic direction and growth agenda for the Florida Concrete Products business, aligning priorities with Florida Business Unit and Titan America objectives, market opportunities, and the broader operating model. This includes establishing annual and long-range plans, defining growth priorities, and positioning the business to strengthen market leadership across the state. Lead the business portfolio with full accountability for financial performance, including profit and loss results, pricing discipline, margin expansion, cost management, working capital, and capital deployment. In partnership with the President of the Florida Business Unit and the broader executive team, proactively surface key risks, opportunities, and trade-off decisions to balance near-term performance with long-term value creation. Act as a key enterprise leader, contributing to Titan America's broader strategy, operating model evolution, and growth agenda. Commercial and Market Leadership Drive commercial performance and market position in close partnership with commercial leadership by strengthening pricing strategy, deepening customer relationships, customer segmentation and value proposition to improve margin quality and competitive positioning Supporting key project pursuits and ensuring operating capabilities are aligned with customer expectations and competitive dynamics. The role is expected to grow profitable share while reinforcing Titan's reputation for reliability and value. Operational Leadership and Continuous Improvement Provide executive leadership for a complex, multi-site operating network across ready-mix and block manufacturing facilities throughout Florida, ensuring disciplined execution, consistent standards, and strong performance across production, logistics, service delivery, maintenance, fleet, dispatch, and operational reliability. Translate business strategy into clear operating priorities and execution plans across the business. Establish and sustain high operating standards through continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, and a rigorous focus on safety, environmental stewardship, quality, service, and asset performance. This includes driving standardization, improving plant and network efficiency, strengthening preventive maintenance and reliability practices, and ensuring the business can scale effectively as market demand evolves. Cross-Functional and Organizational Leadership Build strong cross-functional alignment across operations, commercial, supply chain, finance, HR, and support functions to enable coordinated decision-making, effective resource deployment, and disciplined execution against shared priorities. As a senior member of the Florida Business Unit leadership team, contribute to broader strategic decisions, business planning, and enterprise initiatives. Work with and through the leadership team to drive performance, translate strategy into execution, and build the business across the region. This includes setting clear priorities, aligning leaders around shared goals, reinforcing accountability, and ensuring the organization has the focus, capability, and execution discipline required to deliver results in a dynamic market environment. Strengthen organizational capability by attracting, developing, and retaining high-performing talent across the Florida platform. Build leadership bench strength, advance succession planning, reinforce accountability and engagement, and maintain a visible field presence that promotes a culture of safety, performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in ready-mix concrete, concrete products, cement, aggregates, construction materials, or similarly complex industrial manufacturing environments. Demonstrated success leading large, multi-site operations with full profit and loss accountability, including pricing, margins, cost management, working capital, and capital investment decisions. Strong track record of translating strategy into execution and delivering profitable growth, operational improvement, and measurable financial results in competitive markets. Deep operational leadership experience across manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, reliability, fleet, service delivery, and network performance. Experience partnering cross-functionally with commercial, finance, supply chain, HR, and support teams to drive business performance and organizational alignment. Proven ability to build strong leadership teams, develop talent, advance succession, and foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement. Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required; MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Experience in a vertically integrated construction materials organization and familiarity with Florida construction markets strongly preferred.
