Concrete Batching Operator Adonel Concrete - 3.2 West Palm Beach, FL Job Details Full-time $21 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Computer operation Spanish Batch processors Basic math Ready-mix concrete production English High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Concrete Batching Operator WPB ,FL (onsite) Adonel Concrete, largest privately-owned company in South Florida seeks experienced bilingual English/ Spanish "concrete batching operator" to join our West Palm Beach location. The Batching Operator operates a stationary plant that produces Ready-Mix concrete.
Job Functions:
- Manages raw materials
- Operates an automated command batching system
- Records quantity of sand, cement, gravel, and water required for each mix on loading ticket
- Observes indicator that show when proper amount of materials have been made
- Assists in maintenance and report of plant equipment
- Performs other related duties
Job Requirements:
- Must possess the consistent ability to work overtime (nights & weekends) approximately 55-70 hours
- Interact with Dispatching, Customer Service, Quality Control and Drivers
- Focus on
Customer Excellence Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have basic math skills
- Ready-Mix concrete industry experience is preferred
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the automated batch plant operation
- Bilingual English/ Spanish
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Proficient working knowledge of computer and Microsoft Office products
- Ability to handle pressure and solve problems
