MFI Concrete has an immediate opening for a Concrete Dispatcher/Customer Service Representative . This is an Hourly position reporting to the Plant Manager. Bilingual helpful (English/Spanish). The primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate the highest level of customer satisfaction including order taking, dispatching, scheduling of drivers and deliveries, delivery efficiency and inter-department communication.

Responsibilities :

Responsible for order taking, scheduling, and customer relations Maintain efficient delivery controls through proper scheduling and accurate order entry into the dispatch system Resolve transportation conflicts and handle unusual and difficult customer complaints Provide customer support to ensure maximum efficiency Is positive and upbeat in all communications with customers and other departments Relentlessly pursues a solution to every issue that a customer brings to them Deep desire to exceed expectations of internal and external customers; not satisfied with just meeting expectations Identify and communicate repairs and maintenance of logistics communication equipment

Qualifications and Skills :

High School education or equivalent Experience in dispatch or logistics preferred; construction industry experience preferred Bilingual, English/Spanish helpful Ability to work well under pressure Excellent PC skills, Excel, Outlook, Word Familiar with geographical areas in Carroll, Howard Co. area Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime Good telephone skills; ability to deal with internal and external customers in a courteous and professional manner MFI Concrete offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, life, matching 401K, paid vacation and holidays).
