Concrete Finisher Job Description A commercial concrete contractor is seeking a reliable and hard-working Concrete Finisher. This is a full-time position offering internal opportunities for year-round employment, including participation in our snow removal division. Responsibilities Forming sidewalks, entries, and steps. Pouring concrete. Finishing concrete. Performing all aspects of labor. Completing other duties as assigned. Essential Skills 3-5 years of experience in commercial and/or residential concrete finishing. Experience in set-up and finishing of all aspects of concrete work. Knowledge of all concrete finishing tools. Ability to handle physical labor for construction, including kneeling, bending, lifting, involvement in pouring, and using wheelbarrows and shovels. Additional Skills & Qualifications CDL A and heavy equipment experience is preferred. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work is conducted outdoors in both winter and summer. The team gathers at the shop at 5:30 AM and heads to the site by 6:30 AM, with work continuing until 3:30/4:30 PM. In the winter, we also engage in snow removal tasks. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blaine, MN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $36.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
