This role is responsible for overseeing commercial concrete jobs from preconstruction through completion, ensuring compliance with plans and specifications, coordinating submittals and testing documentation, and actively pursuing new commercial work. The position will also involve learning concrete dispatching and batching operations to support day-to-day production needs. Key Responsibilities A strong understanding of concrete mix designs and getting them through the submittal process for commercial jobs Manage commercial concrete projects from bid request through completion Review, interpret, and understand construction plans and specifications related to concrete mix designs Maintain a strong working knowledge of concrete mix designs, specifications, and performance requirements Prepare, submit, and track concrete mix designs submittals through the full submittal and approval process Maintain compressive strength reports and summaries, ensuring all documentation is accurate, complete, and current Coordinate with testing agencies, contractors, and internal teams regarding concrete testing results and compliance Communicate regularly with commercial contractors, project managers, and job sites to support ongoing and future projects Proactively reach out to commercial contractors and job opportunities to generate additional business and strengthen relationships Learn and support concrete dispatching and batching processes to assist with scheduling, production coordination, and operational coverage as needed Qualifications Experience in commercial concrete, construction management, or a related field preferred Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications Strong understanding of concrete materials, mix designs, and performance criteria Familiarity with submittal processes and construction documentation Strong organizational skills with attention to detail Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities Willingness to learn dispatching and batching operations Degree in
