Full-TimeOpportunityA leading manufacturer and provider of precast concrete and infrastructure solutions is seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to oversee production, field operations, and project execution. This role will play a critical part in ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery across a variety of precast concrete products supporting infrastructure, utility, transportation, and commercial construction projects.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a strong background in concrete operations, production management, precast manufacturing, or heavy civil construction. This individual will be responsible for supervising crews, coordinating production activities, maintaining quality standards, and driving operational excellence.

Position SummaryThe Concrete Superintendent will oversee daily operations and provide leadership to production and field personnel. This role requires a strong understanding of concrete construction practices, scheduling, workforce management, quality control, and safety compliance. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with project management, engineering, operations, and executive leadership teams to ensure projects and production goals are achieved.

Key ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee daily concrete production and operational activities.

Lead field and production crews to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work.

Monitor project schedules and production timelines to ensure delivery commitments are met.

Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and subcontractors as necessary.

Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Review drawings, production plans, and project requirements.

Identify and resolve operational challenges that impact productivity, quality, or schedule.

Ensure adherence to company safety policies and OSHA regulations.

Implement best practices to improve production efficiency and operational performance.

Track production progress and maintain accurate reporting documentation.

Collaborate with engineering, estimating, and project management teams throughout project execution.

Mentor and develop supervisors, foremen, and production staff.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and process optimization efforts.

Qualifications3+ years of experience in a Superintendent, Production Superintendent, Concrete Superintendent, or related leadership role.

Strong experience with concrete construction, precast concrete, concrete manufacturing, or heavy civil projects.

Proven ability to supervise crews and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong knowledge of concrete production processes, formwork, reinforcing steel, finishing, curing, and quality control standards.

Experience reading and interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to identify operational challenges and implement effective solutions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office and production reporting systems.
