$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year Job description: Before applying, please understand that this is not a light-duty manufacturing or assembly job. This position performs physical labor for a full 8-10 hour workday.

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reading Precast is a family-owned precast concrete manufacturer with approximately 30 employees. Many of our team members have been with us for 10, 20, and even 25+ years. We are looking for people who want a long-term career, not just another job. Reading Precast manufactures Redi-Dock, a patented modular precast loading dock ramp system installed throughout the United States. We also manufacture a wide variety of precast concrete products including ADA ramps, steps, and specialty products. Our team takes pride in producing high-quality products used by customers across the country.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Patch bug holes and cosmetic imperfections on precast concrete products
• Inspect products for quality
• Mount curbing and other components to Redi-Dock loading dock ramps
• Cut and prepare rebar and reinforcement materials as needed
• Operate hand tools, grinders, and other finishing equipment safely
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with general shop housekeeping and janitorial duties when needed
• Follow safety procedures and quality standards
• Work closely with the Production Manager and production team to meet daily objectives No precast experience is required—we will train the right person.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR REQUIRED

High school diploma or GED Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to lift 75 lbs Ability to work safely Experience with construction, manufacturing, concrete, landscaping, agricultural, or other hands-on work Attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship Ability to learn new skills and take direction

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You'll work in a heated indoor active precast concrete manufacturing facility where you'll be exposed to noise, and typical production conditions. This is a physical, hands-on role requiring the operation of production equipment and power tools. We provide all required safety equipment including steel-toed boots allowance, safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.

SCHEDULE

Work full-time, Monday through Friday, with a consistent schedule, and overtime available.
