PRECAST CONCRETE PRODUCTION TECHNICIAN

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Reading Precast is a family-owned precast concrete manufacturer with approximately 30 employees. Many of our team members have been with us for 10, 20, and even 25+ years. We are looking for people who want a long-term career, not just another job. Reading Precast manufactures Redi-Dock, a patented modular precast loading dock ramp system installed throughout the United States. Team members play a direct role in building products used by customers across the country.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Clean and assemble concrete forms per production schedule Place rebar and embedded components in forms Pour, finish, and inspect concrete products Use power tools and production equipment safely Help manufacture and assemble Redi-Dock precast loading dock ramps Work with a team to meet daily production goals Take pride in building quality products used throughout the United States

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR REQUIRED

High school diploma or GED Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to lift 75 lbs Ability to work safely Construction, manufacturing, concrete, agricultural, or other hands-on experience Ability to learn new skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

You'll work in a heated indoor active precast concrete manufacturing facility where you'll be exposed to noise, and typical production conditions. This is a physical, hands-on role requiring the operation of production equipment and power tools. We provide all required safety equipment including steel-toed boots allowance, safety glasses, hard hat, gloves, and hearing protection.

SCHEDULE

Work full-time, Monday through Friday, with a consistent schedule, overtime available, and be home every night.
