Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Concrete Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the successful completion of concrete projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. Your hands-on skills and knowledge of construction processes will contribute to building durable, high-quality structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals eager to develop their expertise in concrete work and construction trades while working in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of concrete forms, rebar installation, and reinforcement to ensure proper structural support. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, and other power tools safely and efficiently to pour, spread, and finish concrete surfaces. Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to interpret project specifications accurately. Perform finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, and sealing concrete surfaces to meet project standards. Handle heavy lifting and maneuver heavy equipment to transport materials around the construction site. Support masonry, stucco application, tile laying, and other related tasks as needed for renovation or restoration projects. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and inspecting equipment regularly for safety compliance. Skills Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction tools and equipment operation. Experience with construction estimating processes and blueprint reading for accurate project execution. Skilled in rebar installation, concrete forming, finishing techniques, and concrete pumping systems. Proficient in using hand tools such as hammers, chisels, trowels, and power tools including drills and saws. Knowledge of heavy equipment operation including forklifts or cranes is a plus. Familiarity with schematics, metal stud framing, masonry work, roofing basics, plastering, caulking, trim carpentry, stucco application, flooring installation, tile laying, welding or other specialized trades enhances versatility. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety protocols on active construction sites. Experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation ensures precise work according to design specifications. Strong understanding of construction site safety practices combined with excellent teamwork skills for collaborative project success.
