Our projects include commercial playground equipment, shade structures, shelters, site furnishings, and other recreational amenities at schools, parks, municipalities, and community spaces throughout Arizona and surrounding areas. This is a working foreman position . The ideal candidate will have strong general construction experience and be capable of independently leading a crew, reading plans, laying out work, coordinating materials and equipment, solving field issues, and working alongside the crew to complete installations. Direct playground or shade installation experience is strongly preferred, but we are also interested in experienced construction foremen from related trades who have the skills and ability to learn our products. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a field installation crew Plan and coordinate daily work, manpower, materials, tools, and equipment Read and interpret construction plans, site plans, installation drawings, and specifications Perform site layout and verify dimensions and elevations prior to installation Lead and participate in the installation of commercial playground equipment, shade structures, shelters, site furnishings, and related products Coordinate concrete footings, equipment placement, assembly, and installation Ensure projects are completed correctly, efficiently, and according to manufacturer requirements and project plans Identify and troubleshoot field conditions and installation challenges Communicate job progress, material needs, delays, and field issues with project management Coordinate with general contractors, site superintendents, customers, inspectors, and other trades as needed Maintain accurate job documentation and daily field reports Ensure tools, equipment, vehicles, and materials are properly maintained and accounted for Train and develop crew members in proper installation methods and construction practices Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site Enforce company safety policies and jobsite requirements Assist with loading, unloading, staging, and transportation of materials as needed Travel to project sites throughout Arizona and surrounding areas as required Requirements Previous experience as a construction foreman, lead installer, crew lead, or similar field leadership position Strong hands-on construction experience Ability to independently lead a crew and manage day-to-day field operations Ability to read and understand construction plans and installation drawings Experience with construction layout, measurements, elevations, and basic site work Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to lift and carry 50+ lbs Comfortable working outdoors in Arizona weather conditions Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Dependable transportation to our Phoenix location Ability to pass required background checks for projects at schools, parks, municipalities, and other secured facilities Preferred Qualifications Commercial playground installation experience Shade structure, canopy, steel erection, or shelter installation experience Concrete and footing experience Experience operating skid steers, forklifts, augers, or similar construction equipment Experience towing and maneuvering trailers
