Job Description

Dryshell Roofing & Waterproofing is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join our team in South Florida. This is a hands-on field position . We are looking for someone who can lead a crew while also actively working alongside them. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in waterproofing and/or roofing, understands proper substrate preparation and installation procedures, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. Dryshell specializes in roofing, waterproofing, and building-envelope systems for high-end custom residential and commercial construction. Our work primarily focuses on fluid-applied waterproofing and roofing systems , including below-grade waterproofing, traffic coatings, roof waterproofing, terraces and balconies, exterior building-envelope systems, and detailed flashing applications.
Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a waterproofing/roofing crew in the field Work alongside the crew performing daily installation activities Coordinate daily work activities and manpower Review drawings, details, specifications, and manufacturer requirements Ensure substrates are properly prepared before installation Oversee the installation of primarily fluid-applied waterproofing and roofing systems Maintain high standards for workmanship and jobsite cleanliness Identify field conditions or conflicts before they become problems Communicate jobsite conditions, progress, material needs, and scheduling issues with management Document work and site conditions as required Ensure employees follow company and jobsite safety requirements Coordinate professionally with general contractors, superintendents, inspectors, manufacturers, and other trades
Preferred Experience:
5+ years of roofing, waterproofing, coatings, or related construction experience Previous foreman or crew-lead experience Strong experience with fluid-applied waterproofing, roofing, and coating systems Experience with below-grade waterproofing, traffic coatings, flashing, sealants, and related building-envelope work Knowledge of proper concrete and substrate preparation Ability to read construction drawings and details Ability to understand and follow manufacturer specifications and installation requirements Ability to manage and motivate a field crew while maintaining production and quality Manufacturer-specific experience with Tremco, Siplast, Sika, Laticrete, or similar fluid-applied systems is a plus.
Requirements:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in South Florida conditions Ability to perform the physical requirements of roofing and waterproofing work Dependable and punctual Strong communication and organizational skills Willingness to travel to different projects throughout South Florida as required (company vehicle provided) This is not a superintendent-only position. The successful candidate will be expected to work with tools and actively participate in installations while supervising the crew.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, typically 7:00 AM-3:30 PM. Additional hours/Saturdays may occasionally be required depending on project conditions and schedules.
Compensation:
Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications. Health insurance available after the applicable probationary period. Dryshell Roofing & Waterproofing is looking for someone interested in a long-term position with a company focused on technically demanding, high-quality fluid-applied waterproofing, roofing, and building-envelope systems .
Pay:
$30.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
