Working Foreman Tricoland Site Development, LLC DeLand, FL Job Details Full-time $25 - $35 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Driver's License Full Job Description Job Summary We are looking for an experienced, dependable Working Foreman to lead and work alongside our field crews on site development projects. The Working Foreman will be responsible for directing daily operations, maintaining productivity and quality, coordinating manpower and equipment, and ensuring work is completed safely and according to project plans and schedules. This is a hands - on leadership position . The ideal candidate is someone who is comfortable getting in the field, operating equipment when needed, solving problems, and leading by example. Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily activities of site development crews. Work alongside employees and subcontractors to keep projects moving efficiently. Read and interpret plans, drawings, specifications, and grade stakes. Coordinate manpower, materials, equipment, and deliveries. Operate construction equipment when needed, including skid steers, excavators, loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment. Oversee grading, excavation, clearing, drainage, utilities, concrete, and other site development operations. Maintain proper grades, elevations, and site layouts. Monitor job progress and communicate updates to project management. Identify and resolve jobsite issues before they impact productivity or schedule. Ensure work is completed according to project specifications and company standards. Conduct daily safety checks and enforce company safety policies. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Inspect equipment and report maintenance or repair needs. Track materials, equipment usage, labor, and daily production as required. Communicate effectively with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, inspectors, and crew members. Train and mentor less-experienced employees. Maintain a professional attitude and represent the company positively on every jobsite. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in site development, heavy civil, or related construction. Previous foreman or crew-lead experience preferred. Strong understanding of sitework, grading, drainage, utilities, and excavation. Ability to form and pour concrete utilizing a laser for validating grades, and correct form instillation. Ability to read construction plans and understand elevations and grades. Experience operating heavy equipment. Experience in underground pipe installation and structures with the ability to use a pipe laser Strong leadership and communication skills. Ability to make decisions and solve problems in a fast-paced field environment. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physically demanding work when required. Valid driver's license required.
