Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Foreman to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, manage construction crews, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and maintain project schedules. Your leadership will drive project success by supervising teams, interpreting technical drawings, and ensuring quality standards are met. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and possesses a strong background in commercial construction management with excellent communication skills. Responsibilities Lead and manage construction crews to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality workmanship on site. Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to guide project execution. Develop and coordinate detailed construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to meet deadlines. Monitor safety compliance by enforcing OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations across all site activities. Oversee construction safety management practices, conduct regular safety inspections, and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to budgets. Conduct quality control checks, review blueprints, schematics, and technical documents for accuracy before implementation. Manage contracts, change orders, and documentation through systems like Prolog or Primavera P6 for seamless project tracking. Supervise the review of construction drawings and schematics to verify compliance with design specifications. Oversee construction schedule coordination, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently while managing crew assignments. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing when necessary and ensure all work meets safety standards. Experience Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management roles with a strong track record of supervising teams on large-scale projects. Extensive knowledge of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety protocols. Hands-on experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, or similar platforms. Demonstrated ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints accurately. Strong background in project scheduling, budgeting, and cost control within a construction environment. Supervisory experience managing diverse crews in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety and quality standards. Familiarity with construction estimating processes and managing contracts related to commercial or pipeline projects. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively and coordinate multiple stakeholders seamlessly.
