Immediate About the Position We are seeking an experienced Construction Foreman to lead Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) construction crews in the Toledo, Ohio market. This individual will oversee daily field operations, ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, and maintain high-quality workmanship while meeting customer schedules. The ideal candidate has a strong background in telecommunications construction and understands both aerial and underground fiber installation. Experience coordinating with utility companies, inspectors, subcontractors, and project management teams is highly preferred. Responsibilities Supervise daily construction activities for FTTH projects. Lead field crews while maintaining a safe, productive work environment. Coordinate aerial and underground construction operations. Ensure all work complies with customer specifications, permits, and local regulations. Review construction prints and communicate work assignments to crews. Monitor production, quality, and project schedules. Perform daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards. Coordinate traffic control, utility locates, and permit requirements. Identify and resolve field issues before they impact production. Maintain accurate daily reports, production quantities, and photo documentation. Work closely with project managers and customers to ensure successful project delivery. Assist with material management and equipment utilization. Qualifications Minimum 3 years of telecommunications construction experience. Previous experience as a Foreman or Crew Leader preferred.Working knowledge of:
FTTH construction practices Aerial fiber construction Underground fiber construction Fiber splicing methods and terminology Utility locating and right-of-way requirements Construction permits and traffic control OSHA safety standards and safe work practices Ability to read construction prints and fiber network designs. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Experience Fiber splicing experience. Experience with Fulcrum, Esri Field Maps, or similar field data collection software. Experience working on projects for major cable operators or telecommunications providers. Compensation $25.00- 30.
