In this role, you will be the go-to person on-site, making sure projects are completed safely, on time, and with high quality. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who knows how to manage a team but isn't afraid to pick up tools when needed. You must have solid, practical experience with rough and finish carpentry, drywall installation and patching, painting, and high-end finish work. Crew:
Manage, schedule, and assign daily tasks to construction workers and specialized subcontractors. •
Project Tracking:
Keep projects moving forward to meet important deadlines. Report daily progress, issues, or delays back to the Project Manager. •
Safety First:
Enforce all safety rules, including proper use of safety gear and tools, to keep the site 100% accident-free. •
Material Management:
Keep track of tools and order the right amount of materials (like lumber, paint, and drywall) so the crew never runs out. 2. Hands-On Carpentry & Finish Work •
Carpentry:
Build, install, and repair wooden structures. This includes everything from rough framing to installing doors, window frames, baseboards, and crown molding. •
Drywall & Framing:
Oversee or directly handle metal/wood stud framing, hanging drywall sheets, taping, mudding, and sanding to prepare walls for paint. •
Painting:
Oversee prep work (like masking and filling holes) and apply professional coats of paint, stain, or sealer to walls, trim, and cabinetry. •
Punch List & Finish Work:
Inspect completed rooms to ensure surfaces are smooth, trim lines are straight, and the final look meets our high quality standards. Clean up and fix any final details before handing the project over to the client.
Pay:
$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
