Can you walk a set of structural drawings, visualize the pour, and lead a team to deliver it safely and on time? At Hood Construction, you'll guide concrete crews across hospitals, schools, and hospitality projects—owning the work from footings through the final finish. Challenge you'll tackle Lead day-to-day field operations for foundations, slabs, walls, columns, and flatwork Translate structural plans/specs into coordinated formwork, reinforcing, and placement methods Drive quality: monitor tolerances, surface finish, and curing to meet standards Keep people safe: uphold OSHA rules and site-specific safety practices Protect the schedule: collaborate with PMs, inspectors, and trades; communicate progress and risks early What it takes 5+ years of commercial concrete experience, including 2+ years as a crew lead/foreman Deep knowledge of forming systems, rebar/reinforcing, ACI standards, and building codes Ability to read and act on structural drawings and specifications Clear leadership and communication under pressure Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Core proficiencies Concrete installation and finishing Rod-busting/rebar installation Why you'll like it here Competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision), a 401(k) with company match, paid time off and holidays, and continuous training.
