> welding techniques Measure and mark materials accurately using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments Cut, shape, assemble, and weld sheet metal and ductwork according to specifications while adhering to ASME codes & standards Perform pipe threading, rigging, and assembly tasks for structural or mechanical components on construction sites or manufacturing floors Use cranes, forklifts, and other rigging equipment safely to move heavy materials or fabricated parts Conduct quality inspections to ensure all fabricated items meet safety standards and project requirements Maintain a clean and organized workspace while following safety protocols at all times Experience Proven construction site experience with hands-on fabrication work in industrial or commercial settings Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW, plasma cutting, and soldering with a strong understanding of welding codes & standards Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and basic math for measurements and calculations Experience operating machinery such as press brakes, plasma cutters, machining tools, and pipe threading equipment Mechanical knowledge of fabrication processes including assembly of metal structures or components Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, scaffolding, rigging gear, and mechanical systems efficiently and safely Knowledge of ductwork installation, manufacturing practices, construction procedures, and schematics interpretation is highly desirable This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to apply their technical skills in a collaborative environment.
