In this role, you'll be a key part of preparing, grading, and finishing dirt surfaces for commercial and infrastructure sites. You'll partner with equipment operators and site supervisors to keep projects safe, efficient, and built to specification.
Position Requirements:
Site preparation : Assist in grading, leveling, and compacting soil for construction projects.
Manual labor:
Shovel, rake, and move dirt and materials as needed. Equipment support : Work alongside operators of bulldozers, graders, skid steers, and similar equipment. Safety compliance : Follow all company and OSHA safety guidelines. Team collaboration : Support crew members and supervisors to meet project deadlines.
Experience :
Prior construction or dirt crew experience preferred but not required. Physical ability : Capable of lifting 50+ lbs, standing for long periods, and working outdoors in varying weather. Work ethic : Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn. Safety awareness : Knowledge of basic construction safety practices. Driver's license : Valid license and reliable transportation required.
