Skilled Construction Laborer

Skilled Construction Laborer Pac-West Construction is a family-owned General Contractor based in Cameron Park, CA. For over 15 years, we have completed high-quality residential and commercial construction projects throughout the region, including additions, kitchens, bathrooms, siding, windows, decks, patio covers, full remodels, and more. We are looking for a dependable, experienced Skilled Construction Laborer to join our growing team. This is not an entry-level position . We are seeking someone with hands-on construction experience who can confidently support carpenters, supervisors, and project leads on active jobsites. This position is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, has a strong work ethic, and enjoys working on well-built, detail-oriented projects in a positive, fast-paced environment. Estimating experience is a plus. Duties Include Assist with residential and/or commercial construction tasks, including siding, framing, window and door installation, painting, drywall, and trim work Safely and effectively operate hand and power tools, including nail guns, saws, drills, and other construction equipment Load, unload, move, and organize materials as needed Keep jobsites clean, safe, and organized Follow direction from supervisors, carpenters, and project leads Support demolition, plumbing, electrical, and general construction tasks as needed Maintain a safe, respectful, and professional work environment at all times Requirements Minimum 3+ years of proven construction experience Proficient with basic hand and power tools Valid Driver's License and clean DMV record required — no exceptions Reliable transportation Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Must be willing to travel to and from jobsites as needed Pre-employment drug test required, facilitated and paid for by Pac-West Construction Pre-employment DMV report required, facilitated and paid for by Pac-West Construction Preferred Qualifications Experience with flooring and drywall installation Familiarity with jobsite procedures and safety protocols Positive attitude and willingness to grow within the company Estimating experience is a plus Benefits IRA matching Health insurance Vision insurance Dental reimbursement Phone reimbursement Power tools provided Uniforms provided Work boot reimbursement On-site training Opportunities for advancement 8 paid holidays

Pay & Schedule Pay Range:

$25-$32 per hour, depending on experience
