Operating construction equipment safely and efficiently. Loading, unloading, moving, and handling construction materials and equipment. Assisting skilled tradespeople and construction crews with daily activities. Reading and following plans, specifications, drawings, and work instructions when required. Setting up and maintaining safe work areas. Performing general labor, site cleanup, material handling, and other assigned duties. Working as part of a team to complete projects safely, efficiently, and according to specifications. Following company policies, project requirements, and all applicable safety regulations. Inspecting tools, equipment, and work areas and reporting unsafe conditions or equipment problems. Maintaining a clean and organized job site. Meeting project schedules, quality standards, and production goals. Performing other duties as assigned based on the position and project requirements. Qualifications Qualifications will vary by position. Depending on the job, candidates may need: Construction experience or a willingness to learn. Experience in road, bridge, heavy civil, concrete, asphalt, excavation, or related construction. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physical labor and safely lift, carry, and move materials as required. Ability to follow directions and work effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. Commitment to workplace safety. Valid driver's license when required. Appropriate licenses/certifications for applicable positions. Equipment operating experience for equipment operator positions. Trade experience, apprenticeship, certifications, or other qualifications when applicable.
