In this energetic role, you'll be a vital part of building and maintaining infrastructure, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. You will work alongside skilled tradespeople, assisting with various tasks that keep construction sites moving forward. Your proactive attitude and commitment to safety will help create a productive environment where quality work thrives. This paid position offers hands-on experience in industrial construction and opportunities to develop valuable skills in a fast-paced setting. Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including site cleanup and material organization Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials and equipment safely Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to support project execution Operate power tools and basic equipment under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance Support erosion control measures to prevent soil runoff and protect the environment on-site Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA standards, respiratory protection protocols, and climbing safety procedures Conduct routine inspections of tools, equipment repair needs, and site safety conditions to uphold high safety standards Requirements Prior industrial or construction site experience is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, climbing, and manual handling tasks throughout the workday Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus Familiarity with power tools, construction plans, and erosion control techniques preferred Strong commitment to workplace safety practices, including respiratory protection use when necessary Join us in building something great!
