Job Title:
Construction Laborer Job Description Join our team in Boise as a concrete laborer and cutter, where you'll have the opportunity to build a lasting career in a physically demanding yet rewarding role. We are seeking individuals who are committed to working hard and are eager to learn and grow with our organization. While previous construction experience is preferred, it is not required, as we provide training for the right candidates. Responsibilities Operate, or be willing to learn to operate, Wall Saws, Core Drills, Hand Saws, Flat Saws, and heavy equipment. Perform full building demolitions and renovations. Be prepared for dirty, heavy lifting, and work in dusty, debris-filled, and wet environments. Maintain and care for equipment being used; mechanical experience is helpful but not required. Comply with all safety policies and procedures. Maintain a positive, drug-free work environment. Manage workflow to meet changing priorities and properly fill out daily paperwork and vehicle inspection reports. Attend a full day of orientation and safety training on the first day; steel toe shoes are required, and PPE is provided. Work under a 700-hour contract with the potential for hire upon completion. Essential Skills Experience in general labor and construction. Ability to handle hand tools, concrete finishing, saw operations, drill press, and concrete construction. Willingness to work in physically demanding conditions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in residential or commercial projects is a plus. OSHA certifications and MSHAW are advantageous, though not required. Backgrounds such as farmhand, ex-military, construction, or demolition are beneficial. Why Work Here? Work Environment Travel across the Treasure Valley to various job sites, engaging in concrete cutting and drilling. This role involves very physically demanding and dirty work, requiring comfort with working in the elements. The shift starts at 6:45 am and typically ends when the job is complete, usually around 4:30 pm, though some days may extend longer. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boise, ID. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $26.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
