Job Description

Purpose of the Role Responsible for performing a variety of physical tasks and manual duties set out by the supervisor. The position includes grinding weld seams to a smooth shape/finish, assisting with CNC plasma cutting machines as well as other duties required for the welding and fabrication process. The candidate must be in good physical shape to perform a wide variety of tasks that require stamina, focus and attention to detail. They must also be organized, comfortable working with others and working independently, be able to follow instructions and carry them out efficiently. 3. Key Responsibilities and Duties Safely operate construction vehicles - Forklifts and Skid Steer Use power and hand tools Help with CNC plasma cutting machines Help with welding, grinding and fabrication Maintain a safe and clean work environment Keeping repair tools and supplies clean and organized Completing safety checks on systems and equipment Help transport raw and fabricated material Responsibly manage consumable supplies and raw materials Follow all company safety requirements and standards including but not limited to the use of respiratory equipment, protective clothing, protective lenses/googles, steel toe boots etc.

Alert, focused, and meticulous Physically and mentally fit Strength and stamina to perform a variety of physical tasks Repetitive standing and walking Help with other duties as needed Able to operate a forklift, hand trucks, pallet jacks, skid steer, etc. Prior work experience with sheet metal, finish/ trim work, carpentry skills is beneficial, but not required. Initiative-taker who works well independently Disciplined, dependable, and resourceful High level of composure and good stress management Be able to strictly follow work instructions, have good attention to detail and be quality minded Must work well in a team environment and be self-sufficient when working alone The ability to work with minimal supervision from managers Work easily and skillfully with hands Stoop, kneel, and crouch as needed Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects Reliable Transportation Physically - Lift up to 75 LBS; frequently lifting and carrying objects weighing 25 to 50 LBS
