Job Description

Everyday handling of structural material (steel beams, channel, square tubing, etc.) Proficient in MIG Welding and Plasma Cutting (freehand). Reads and comprehends construction/welding drawings and specifications. Marks up construction/welding drawings and specifications with as-built status. Sand Blast & Paint Structural Steel material Install G-Rib Metal & Trim Install Snaplock Metal & Trim Operate overhead crane, scissor lift, and forklift (will provide training) Capable to use everyday construction tools (tape measure, square, level, etc.) Works in conjunction with other crews and lead persons. Maintains responsibility for all tools and equipment assigned to the group. Ability to lift 60lbs regularly and up to 80lbs at times. To have full range of motion of arms and legs for ability to work in confined quarters and to do overhead work. Other duties of temporary assignment when needed. Position will be based in Latham, Mo but personnel are required to work in Tipton, Mo when required. Ability to read labels, safety warnings, and guidelines. Must be able to obtain Welding Certification provided by Company. Ability to learn basic computer skills to communicate via email, document daily work and progress, and track procurements and status. Always attentive to detail and alert to ensure safety. Ability to receive and follow instructions and communicate with co-workers. Proficient carpentry skills. Prior construction trim/finish work is preferred, but not required. Prior painting experience is preferred, but not required.
