Job Description
Purpose of the Role Responsible for programming, operating, and maintaining CNC laser cutting and brake press machines to produce high-quality products. Key Responsibilities and Duties Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting and brake press machines to ensure accurate production of parts and materials based on work orders. Program CNC machines according to blueprints and work order specifications, ensuring all required dimensions and tolerances are met. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure proper machine operation and job completion. Select and load materials into the CNC machines based on the specifications outlined in the work order. Ensure materials are available and meet quality standards. Use a forklift or other material handling equipment to load and unload raw materials and finished parts from machines. Perform routine quality checks to ensure parts meet the required specifications. Conduct inspections of finished products for quality assurance. Modify machine settings as needed to adjust to job specifications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure machines are operating efficiently. Monitor and track inventory levels of raw materials, tools, and supplies. Communicate with management to ensure stock is replenished as necessary. Communicate effectively with management and team members to report progress, address concerns, and collaborate on solutions to optimize production. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to supervisors. Assist with other brake press duties, machine setups, and general maintenance tasks as assigned by management. Perform all duties as assigned
