Job Summary We are seeking energetic and dedicated Construction Laborers at all experience levels—entry, skilled, and team leads—to join our team. This position may support a variety of trade areas, including general construction, carpentry, concrete, welding, electrical, metal erection, millwright/industrial installation, equipment installation, and other construction-related work. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, physically capable of performing demanding work, and willing to learn or apply skilled trade experience in a fast-paced construction environment.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week, with overtime availability. Essential Duties/Responsibilities All Construction Laborers may be responsible for: Perform general construction labor to support industrial and commercial projects. Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites. Operate hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment. Assist with construction tasks such as concrete, carpentry, metal erection, industrial installation, and general jobsite support. Follow all Storee and client-specific safety policies. Work in various weather conditions, including extreme heat or cold.
General Construction Laborers may also:
Assist experienced crew members with basic construction tasks. Learn proper use of tools, materials, equipment, and jobsite procedures. Perform site cleanup, material handling, and other support tasks. Load, unload, move, and stage materials, tools, and equipment.
Skilled Construction Laborers may also:
Perform advanced construction tasks based on experience and trade area. Support work involving concrete, carpentry, welding, metal erection, millwright/industrial installation, or equipment operation. Read basic project information, follow layout instructions, and complete assigned work with limited supervision.
Construction Team Leads may also:
Lead small crews or assigned work areas under the direction of a Superintendent or Project Manager. Coordinate daily tasks, materials, tools, and crew assignments. Communicate job progress, issues, safety concerns, and material needs to supervisors. Help ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to quality expectations. Qualifications Prior construction experience is a plus, but not required for entry-level laborer positions. Skilled Laborers should have 2+ years of construction or skilled trade experience. Team Leads should have 5+ years of construction or skilled trade experience and prior leadership or supervisory experience. Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction techniques. Ability to interpret technical drawings and construction plans effectively. Familiarity with safety protocols on construction sites. Strong work ethic with a focus on teamwork and safety adherence. Experience in commercial or industrial construction preferred. Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and heavier loads with assistance. •Storee Construction conducts pre-employment drug screens.
