Year-round Description:

Camm Construction is hiring a crew lead / equipment operator in Bergen. We do site development, trenching, concrete foundations, conduit and fenceline work, camera poles, slide gates, and related concrete and asphalt work for utilities, telecom, and other local clients. Tools and equipment are provided. What you will do Excavate, trench, backfill, grade, and restore sites Form, pour, and finish concrete pads, piers, and pole foundations Run equipment you are qualified on (excavator, mini-ex, skid steer, loader, dump, compactors) Keep the site clean and work safely around existing utilities Ability to travel is required. Travel varies but usually is only 2 to 6 months out of the year, and you would be home every weekend. What you need Construction experience (dirt, trench, concrete, or equipment) Valid NYS driver's license and a ride to Bergen Ability to operate larger trucks long distance, as well as maneuvering a trailer. Ability to work outside year-round and lift 50+ lbs Ability to pass a drug screen and background check for utility / owner sites Leadership skills with the motivation to learn and improve. Nice to have Time on an excavator or skid steer

OSHA 10/30

Class A CDL Utility, telecom, or municipal site experience Early starts. Overtime is available, as well as per diem with out of town work. Pay depends on personal abilities and how little supervision you need. Apply with information regarding a previous project or job you have done. Military experience welcome. Fair Chance employer.
