Motor Equipment Operator/ Laborer

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Motor Equipment Operator/Laborer and play a vital role in maintaining and constructing essential infrastructure. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy machinery, including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and tankers. You will be instrumental in executing construction projects efficiently and safely while gaining hands-on experience with industry-leading equipment like Caterpillar machinery. Responsibilities Safely operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and tankers to support construction projects. Assist with site preparation, grading, paving, excavation, horizontal drilling, and other construction activities. Conduct routine inspections of machinery to ensure proper functioning and perform basic maintenance as needed. Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members. Support labor tasks including site cleanup, material handling, and assisting skilled operators on various projects. Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while adhering to quality standards. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and daily work activities. Qualifications Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with experience operating heavy construction equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, or tankers. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) preferred for operating large vehicles on-site or on-road. Prior construction site experience is highly desirable; familiarity with horizontal drilling and paving is a plus. Ability to operate Caterpillar machinery or similar brands confidently and safely. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments. Basic troubleshooting skills for mechanical issues and routine maintenance tasks. Physical ability to perform demanding labor tasks including lifting, standing, walking long distances, and working in various weather conditions. Pay:
