In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with fencing projects from start to finish, ensuring the installation of high-quality fences that meet client specifications. Your enthusiasm for outdoor work, safety awareness, and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of fencing and related construction projects. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in carpentry, construction, and customer service while working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of various types of fences, including wood, vinyl, chain-link, and ornamental styles Read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate fence placement and measurements Use hand tools and power tools safely to cut, assemble, and install fencing materials Handle building materials with care, including loading, unloading, and organizing supplies on-site Perform heavy lifting tasks to move fence panels, posts, concrete bags, and other materials as needed Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment for yourself and team members Support the setup of concrete forms and perform concrete finishing when required for fence posts or footings Skills Strong carpentry and frame carpentry skills with experience in building material installation Ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Proficiency with hand tools such as hammers, saws, drills, levels, and measuring tapes Experience with fence construction projects from initial setup to final installation Knowledge of construction site safety standards and power tool safety practices Outdoor work experience in various weather conditions with physical stamina for heavy lifting Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus for specialized fencing or structural support work Ability to handle construction materials efficiently while maintaining organization on-site Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and understanding customer needs Experience in interpreting construction plans and executing tasks accordingly Join our team today to build durable fences that enhance property security and aesthetics!
