DAY SHIFT
PA,OH, West VA & NY Travel Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Heavy Equipment Spotter to join our team. You will work Monday through Friday with few or no weekends from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and early departure on Fridays between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. This role involves setting and moving crane mats to facilitate the smooth operation of skid steers and other heavy equipment over a 5-mile power line construction project. Responsibilities Set and move 15 ft long and 8 ft wide Spartan brand crane mats for heavy equipment. Work across five locations, setting and moving mats, and returning to pull them up for continued project progression. Align crane mats correctly, locking and unlocking pins to accommodate equipment movement through woodland areas. Prevent equipment from getting stuck in wetlands by properly placing mats. Move and lift 50 lb buckets of pins. Rake ground/soil, plant grass seed, and lay hay after moving mats. Spot for equipment operators and direct communications with them. Perform job site cleanup. Essential Skills Experience on a construction site. Experience working around heavy equipment, ideally skid steers. Ability to work outdoors. Capability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work on your feet all day. Additional Skills & Qualifications Safety awareness on construction sites. Ability to work in wetlands areas through varying weather conditions. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Philadelphia, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
