We specialize in a wide array of services ranging from industrial, commercial, and residential repairs to high-end custom carpentry design and installation. As our business continues to expand into retail feed services for the Rising Star area, we are seeking a hardworking and dependable General Laborer to join our team. This role is essential to our daily operations, providing vital support across our construction projects, restoration services, and our busy retail feed storefront. Key Responsibilities The General Laborer will engage in a diverse range of tasks that vary daily based on our current project load and customer needs. You will assist our skilled craftsmen with industrial, commercial, and residential renovations, restoration services, and carpentry projects, ensuring job sites are kept clean and organized. On the retail side of the business, you will be responsible for providing exceptional, friendly service to our local customers by helping them select and load high-quality Red Chain Feed, including corn, chicken scratch, and livestock pellets. This position requires physical stamina as you will frequently move materials, handle heavy feed bags, and support the fabrication and installation of custom cabinetry. You will also play a key role in maintaining our local reputation for convenience and efficiency by ensuring every customer is served quickly and professionally. Qualifications The ideal candidate for this position is a motivated individual who enjoys working with their hands and possesses a strong work ethic. While we are willing to train the right person, prior experience in construction, carpentry, or a general handyman role is highly preferred. Because we handle a variety of large-scale repairs and renovations, experience operating heavy equipment is considered a significant plus and will allow you to take on more complex tasks within the company. You must be physically capable of lifting heavy loads repeatedly and be comfortable working in both indoor shop environments and outdoor job sites.
