Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Equipment Operator/Laborer to join our construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery and equipment to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality at every stage. Your expertise will help drive project success from excavation and grading to paving and utility work. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and operational skills to contribute to large-scale infrastructure development. Duties Operate heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes, equipment in accordance with safety procedures and project specifications Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with excavation, construction grading, and site preparation activities to facilitate smooth project progression Drive commercial trucks for transporting equipment, materials, or personnel between sites while adhering to federal construction safety regulations and traffic laws Support construction utility work by installing, repairing, or maintaining underground utilities following safety standards Follow all equipment safety procedures and safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members Collaborate with team members on construction site tasks such as paving, grading to meet project deadlines Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery including excavators, loaders, graders, backhoes Strong knowledge of construction utility work, excavation techniques, and site grading processes Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures Prior experience in commercial truck driving with a clean driving record is highly desirable Mechanical aptitude for maintenance and troubleshooting of construction machinery Construction site experience with an understanding of safety regulations and best practices in heavy equipment operation Demonstrated ability to perform construction utility work such as utility installation tasks Join our team if you're passionate about building infrastructure and eager to apply your skills in a fast-paced environment. Pay:
$20.00 - $67.00 per hour
