Pay:
up to $40.24/
HR Duties:
Conduct daily setup, inspections, and preparation of production equipment to ensure efficient operation. Perform technical support checks and operational assessments on conveyors, elevators, pressure systems, blow-down systems, lubrication systems, labeling equipment, and filling equipment. Monitor electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems to ensure safe and reliable performance. Identify equipment performance issues during routine inspections and take corrective action as needed. Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment according to established schedules. Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and equipment documentation. Assist production operators with machine adjustments, setups, and changeovers. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control system malfunctions. Perform repairs and replace components to minimize equipment downtime. Follow and enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures during maintenance activities. Communicate equipment concerns, maintenance updates, and repair needs to the Maintenance Manager. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Follow all company safety, quality, and food manufacturing requirements.
Qualifications:
1-3 years of maintenance technician experience , preferably in a food or beverage manufacturing environment. Strong mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting industrial machinery and equipment. Experience with PLCs, electrical controls, and automated production equipment. Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic, and process automation control systems. Experience with low-voltage electrical systems, wiring, and basic programming. Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment failures. Knowledge of preventative maintenance programs and maintenance best practices. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and respond effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
