Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Civil Site Foreman to lead and oversee construction activities on large-scale civil projects. This pivotal role involves managing day-to-day site operations, supervising construction crews, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and maintaining project schedules. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with technical drawings. The successful candidate will have dirt and pipe experience with the ability to operate heavy equipment. Water, Storm and Sewer experience is a must. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Manage and direct construction crews, subcontractors, and suppliers to optimize productivity and quality. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure accurate implementation of project plans. Conduct regular safety inspections in compliance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; enforce safety protocols consistently. Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets project specifications and industry standards. Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, resource allocation, and progress reporting; manage change orders and contractual obligations effectively. Requirements Proven experience in heavy civil or commercial construction management with a strong background in supervising teams on active sites. Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings, technical specifications, and blueprints accurately. Solid understanding of construction scheduling, project management principles, and safety regulations including OSHA standards. Experience managing budgets, contracts, and procurement processes within large-scale projects. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Extensive knowledge of water and gravity pipe installation is a must. Excellent communication skills for clear management reporting and coordination with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams. Pay:
