The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating contractors, subcontractors, vendors, schedules, budgets, materials, and clients to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time, and to a high standard of quality. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, problem-solver, and leader who understands residential construction and can manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Oversee residential construction projects from start to finish. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, tradespeople, vendors, and suppliers. Schedule inspections, deliveries, installations, and subcontractor work. Monitor job-site progress and ensure work is completed according to plans, specifications, and quality standards. Review construction plans, blueprints, scopes of work, and project specifications. Identify and resolve construction issues, delays, material shortages, and scheduling conflicts. Maintain clear and consistent communication with homeowners, contractors, architects, designers, and company management. Track project costs, purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and expenses. Obtain and coordinate necessary materials, equipment, and services. Ensure projects remain within approved budgets and timelines. Conduct regular job-site inspections and document project progress. Ensure compliance with applicable building codes, permits, safety regulations, and company standards. Manage and document change orders and communicate cost or schedule impacts to clients. Coordinate final inspections, punch-list items, and project closeout. Maintain accurate project documentation, photographs, reports, and records. Provide regular updates to management and homeowners regarding project status. Address homeowner questions and concerns professionally and promptly. Ensure the job site remains organized, safe, and professional throughout construction. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in residential construction, project management, or a related field preferred. Strong knowledge of residential construction processes, materials, and trades. Ability to read and understand construction plans and blueprints. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and customer-service skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Proficiency with project management software, Microsoft Office, or similar tools. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to travel to residential job sites as required. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing custom homes, remodels, renovations, or new residential construction. Construction management, project management, or related certification. Knowledge of local building codes and permitting requirements. Experience with estimating, budgeting, and construction cost control. Established relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and construction vendors. Physical & Job Requirements Regular travel to residential construction sites. Ability to walk construction sites and navigate uneven surfaces, stairs, and unfinished areas. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions. Ability to occasionally lift or move materials and equipment as needed. Must be comfortable working in an active construction environment.
