full-time Our company is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to support the successful execution of commercial construction projects from project setup through closeout. This position plays a critical role in ensuring projects remain compliant, on schedule, within budget, and properly documented throughout the project lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have experience managing public works projects, OCIP/UCIP programs, PLA projects, certified payroll, progress invoicing, and construction project administration. Strong communication, organizational, and critical-thinking skills are essential. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Project Setup & Compliance Set up new projects and ensure all required documentation is obtained and maintained.
Verify project requirements including:
Certificates of Insurance (COI) Business Licenses Contract Documents Compliance Requirements Manage and maintain project documentation throughout the life of the project. Coordinate
OCIP/UCIP
enrollment and compliance requirements. Manage Public Works project requirements and compliance. Coordinate PLA (Project Labor Agreement) requirements and reporting. Process and maintain Certified Payroll records. Project Administration Prepare and submit project submittals. Follow up with customers, contractors, and project stakeholders regarding submittal approvals. Escalate and document delays that may result in additional project costs. Communicate with customers regarding installation schedules and project timelines. Track project progress and provide regular status updates to management. Billing & Financial Management Prepare and process deposit invoices. Prepare and process progress billings. Prepare and process final invoices upon project completion. Monitor project budgets and expenses. Assist management in identifying cost overruns and budget concerns. Maintain accurate project financial records. Project Closeout Compile and submit project closeout documentation. Prepare warranty letters and final project documentation. Ensure all project requirements are completed before final closeout. Customer Relations Conduct post-project follow-up with customers. Obtain customer feedback regarding project performance. Request and encourage Google Reviews from satisfied customers. Maintain positive relationships with customers and project stakeholders. Qualifications Required Experience Construction project coordination or project administration experience. Public Works project management experience.
