The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of construction management, project scheduling, and site supervision, ensuring that projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role demands strong leadership skills, technical expertise in blueprint reading and schematics, and proficiency with construction management software. The Senior Superintendent will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver exceptional multi-family housing developments that meet all regulatory and safety requirements. Duties Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of multi-family construction projects from inception through completion. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring adherence to safety protocols such as OSHA standards and maintaining a safe work environment. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling tools to monitor progress and adjust plans proactively. Manage subcontractor performance, supervise on-site personnel, and ensure quality control through regular inspections and adherence to schematics and blueprints. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, and HeavyBid for document control, RFIs, submittals, and project tracking. Review contracts, change orders, and construction estimates to ensure compliance with project budgets and specifications. Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, resolve issues promptly, and manage project risks effectively. Oversee budgeting processes including cost forecasting and resource allocation to optimize project profitability. Ensure all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Maintain accurate documentation of all construction activities using tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing where applicable. Collaborate closely with project managers on pipeline development for future projects. Experience Extensive experience in heavy civil or multi-family residential construction management with a proven track record supervising large-scale projects. Strong proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera (P6), HeavyBid. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. In-depth knowledge of contracts administration, budgeting practices, and construction estimating techniques. Hands-on site experience with construction site safety protocols including OSHA standards. Proven supervisory experience managing diverse teams of tradespeople and subcontractors effectively. Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as Ohmmeters is preferred. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
